I wrote this poem while pondering the dreaded question: who am I?
Thank you for reading 😬

I am...
I am.........
*sigh*
I am a giant,
if only to an ant. I am a mother,
if only to a plant.
I am a songstress,
if only to my dog. I am a companion,
if only to a log.
I am a lover,
if only to myself. I am unstable,
if only to a shelf.
I am dark skinned,
if only to my cousins. I am stone cold,
if only to an oven.
I am a poet,
if only to this book. It really all depends
on who holds the look.
I am more than meets the eye.
I am...
I am..
I am.

Loveeee the flow of this!! 💕💕
I love this poem SO MUCH!!! So beautiful and a power-FULL reminder about perspective.
Ohhh, this has a fun rhythm. Reading it was a flowy experience. <3 ::puts on more brave lip:::: yes, I do use lip balm *that* often 😆 We all sure *are* more than what meets the eye, huh?
